You know what it is!
The coming of October reminds of this quote from LM Montgomery’s Anne of Green Gables:
I’m so glad I live in a world where there are Octobers. It would be terrible if we just skipped from September to November, wouldn’t it?
That it would, Anne. That it would.
I’ve read the Anne series umpteen times but it wasn’t until about three years ago when I got into photography and started to notice the world around me more that I finally understood Anne’s words. I love these colours.
This is the first new month since Some Photoblog started, so I am finally getting more than one item under the Archives heading.
Happy October everybody!
Two more photos of reflections. These were taken in Castlefield in Manchester.
Reflection in the water of a small pool in Heaton Park.
I have a couple more photos of reflections which will appear in my next post.
Just showing some love for the city I live in!
I collected these at my work for about two years. Then when we moved to another building and had to clear our stuff, I took them home. With my obsession with colours and everything colourful, it didn’t take me long to realise I needed to make some photos of coloured paperclips.
It’s my most favourite place in the world–or at least Manchester. I predict I will be posting quite a bit of Heaton Park in the future.
I never get tired of snapping sunsets. This one was taken in my home town of Bratislava, from the balcony of my mum’s flat.
September afternoon, too beautiful not to be shared!
