If you didn’t know there was a Roman fort (or what remains of it) in Manchester, now you know. And here are the pictures of it:
The remains of the fort are in the part of town called Castlefield–and this sign explains why:
Here is the link to Wikipedia entry, where you can find more info about this fort.

Welcome to Number Five of my Gloomscapes series, today I present to you a Building That Used To Be:
Maybe it used to be a rebels’ base. Or Opposition’s headquarters. Whatever it was, it is no more.
These photographs are brand new, only taken yesterday. I never expected to come across a half-demolished building, I had no idea it was there!

I’m back with a Weekly Photo Challenge post. Here are my two contributing images:
The first one looks like the kind of place where they warn you not to hang around after dark. The second one looks like the kind of place where they tell you you’ll end up if you hang around the kind of places on the first picture, with dodgy people. But no, it’s not a prison, it’s the wall of an industrial estate, not far from where I live.
I feel like I’ve been in a slump lately. Sort of like hitting a brick wall.
I haven’t thought of anything to blog about and couldn’t even come up with anything for the last two weekly photo challenges. So I decided to post about how I don’t know what to post about.
I hear talking about walls is in vogue these days.
Just showing some love for the city I live in!
