I couldn’t think of anything clever for this year’s International Women’s Day, so here’s the first daffodils of 2022 for all you ladies out there.

So pretty and quite meaningful especially the colour.
I didn’t realise it was International woman’s day. There are so many international and national days for one cause or another that they almost pass without being noticed now.
This day, however, has a more meanings than ever before and I’m so glad you dedicated your post to the brave women of Ukraine. 🙂

  I always remember IWD from my childhood, because communists used to make a big deal out of it. For us kids it just meant that we made cards for our mums–we didn’t have Mothers Day back then.
