Does this make you feel like a Roman centurion?

There’s always space for a little silliness on Some Photoblog.

I went to the Roman fort in Castlefield–which has featured here in the past. And as I observed, it threw a nice shadow.

That’s me there, see?

So it occurred to me, how would a Roman centurion have felt, standing right where I was. I wonder if he also appreciated the shadow?
