We Still Have Rainbows

I’ve not seen one of these for a while; it’s been either sunny without rain or raining without sun. Finally the conditions were perfect for a rainbow to make an appearance.

I’ve been feeling autumn in the air for the last few days. Summer is ending. Though what difference that makes in these times, I don’t know. Only that days are getting shorter and time for my daily walk is moving to earlier in the day. Which makes me wonder about what this new way of life is going to be like in winter, if the virus is still a threat. I think we can expect it will be.

Probably every one of you reading this has at some point uttered the phrase: this year sucks. I have too. But no piece of news was as devastating as the death of the actor Chadwick Boseman. Devastating doesn’t describe it. There is no word that can describe it. It sucks, what can I say. Everything sucks.

Rest in power, Chadwick.
